Wednesday the 30th July to Friday the 1st of August was our planned three day trip repeated from last year to visit RNAS Yeovilton followed by two days at RNAS Culdrose taking in their Air Day in the middle of the visit.
Following close on the heels of the Lydd trip is the latest group little adventure on Saturday the 5th April 2014.
Although the group night flying plans for this year had been scuppered by the very poor weather amazingly the day Fly Outs for 2014 got off to a good start.
The clocks going back should have started the night flying season but unfortunately things were rather delayed due to the spell of wet and windy weather.
Well as with the Culdrose trip the Gods of Sod hit me again with bad weather for the groups last daylight fly out of the year.
For various reasons, getting organised fly outs together in 2013 had been proving ridiculously difficult.
